Smokey Bubblin' B Music Video

This project started off as an independent production in response to an open creative brief, but after reaching out to the artist, Andy Alexandrou, the project merged with his creative vision for the rerelease of his popular track, 'Young World', originally recorded by A.D.O.R. in 1998. For this project, I developed an animated video game aesthetic, drawing inspiration from 'Californication' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and classic PS1 games like Wipeout, Grand Theft Auto, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
Built with Blender for 3D modelling and animation, Mixamo for character rigging, and After Effects for compositing and visual effects; the final composition blends the high-energy aesthetic of classic gaming with the rhythmic pulse of UK garage music, created in tribute to both the music and gaming cultures of the late 90s.
